ConvenientMD clinics always have a provider on site in state-of-the-art facilities equipped with digital x-ray, lab, ECG and IV.




    The key functions of the job include the following which are subject to change over time.


    Human Resources

    • Oversee providers in region
    • Participate in annual reviews

    Quality Assurance

    • Review medical charts of all providers within region
      • If no deficiencies, 10 charts per quarter (completed one month per quarter)
      • If no deficiencies within the first year, 10 charts every 6 months per provider
      • If deficiencies are noted a monthly chart review of 10 charts will be done until deficiency is resolved
    • Follow up with providers on clinical deficiencies and issues
    • Review ED Transfer logs to assess ED transfer rates

    Patient Complaints

    • Respond to clinical complaints in region
    • Log all communications regarding complaints in Salesforce


    • Visit with all new providers for one hour by 6th shift to ensure comfort level
    • Identify training required by providers and work with Practice Managers to coordinate training


    • Spend time in all centers (goal to work one shift per month in each center in region)
    • Lead corporate/business portion of provider CME meetings
    • Have regular communication with and be available to all providers in region

    Policies & Procedures

    • Draft new or revised clinical policies & procedures based on your providers’ feedback for review by Chief Medical Officer

    Regional Lab Director

    • POCT testing, proficiency, and competency
    • Participate in lab inspections as needed


    • Participate in Board of Pharmacy inspections as needed


    School Nurse CNE

    • Conduct school nurse CNE (optional, paid at clinical hourly rate)



    • Medical degree from accredited university.
    • Experience treating patients of all ages
    • Board certification in family practice, emergency medicine, or another ABMS recognized specialty.
    • State and federal licensure requirements.
    • Understanding of medical coding and billing.
    • Knowledge of JCAHO accreditation requirements and state and federal regulations including OSHA, HIPAA, blood borne pathogens, and others.
    • Competent with common PC applications including Internet, Email, and Microsoft Office.
    • Ability to supervise, train, and evaluate new and current provider staff.
